Stat Levelling Overhaul (v0.4.0)
The first update to Arena 15 has arrived!
AUTO LEVELLING REMOVED
In v0.3, all stats would level up once when the player reached a certain level such as level 10, 25, and 45. This mechanic has been removed as it did not feel like the player was involved in the decisions that made them strong. It has been replaced by an attack speed level overhaul.
ATTACK SPEED LEVEL OVERHAUL
In v0.4, every third time you level up attack speed (formerly base attack speed), attack speed acceleration (formerly attack acceleration), or attack speed limit (formerly max attack speed) your damage level also increases. This change was done to create a more interrelated relationship between stats to make them more compact as well as to respond to low damage output when someone built attack speed in the previous version that resulted in less engaging gameplay.
The name changes of attack speed stats have been done to improve clarity.
COMBO MULTIPLIER
Combo XP intervals and multipliers have changed. The maximum scaling of the XP multiplier has been reduced from x3 to x2.5 XP. This change has been done to reduce the range between progress within differing skill levels. The amount of hits required to reach the maximum scaling has increased from 50 to 60. This change was done in response to the attack acceleration buff.
BUG FIXES
Fixed a bug where dodge invincibility would run out during hitstop.
